James Gallagher, a senior at Milton High, won a Gold Key at the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, which is a national contest sponsored by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers that received 185,000 submissions.
He (his work pictured left) had previously won two Gold Keys for his photography portfolio and a single entry by in the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards, qualifying him for the national contest.
