Women’s hoops falls to GMU in CAA tourney
The women’s basketball team’s season came to an end after a 70-60 loss to George Mason University in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Virginia 529 College Savings Plan Women’s Basketball Championship at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md., Thursday night.
Alumnus slides into first place
Steve Langton, who graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in business management and entrepreneurship, and sled partner Steven Holcomb raised the first-place trophy for the two-man bobsled at the 2012 World Championship in Lake Placid, N.Y. with a time of 3:42.88.
