It came down to the last event, but the Newton North girls’ track team left Reggie Lewis Track Center Saturday afternoon with what it came looking for — its fourth consecutive James Kalperis MSTCA State Relays title.
Catarina Rocha caps career with a second at nationals
On Saturday in San Diego, at her third consecutive Foot Locker Cross Country Championships, the tables turned. Anna Rohrer, a sophomore from Mishawaka, Ind., finished the 5K race in 17:24.8, with Rocha second in 17:29.0.
Bishop Feehan, Peabody run to cross-country titles
Led by junior Abbey McNulty’s victory in 18 minutes and 20.72 seconds, Bishop Feehan won its fourth consecutive state title in Division 2. Next year the school will move to Division 1.
